for the epidermis was more pronounced in the PsE patients than in the PsV patients. Although there is a pos-sibility that serum IL- 25 levels reflect inflammation due to severe psoriasis, our results showed that IL- 25 levels were not elevated in PsV patients with PASI score over 10, and furthermore, IL- 25 levels in PsE patients did not correlate with CRP levels. Increased serum IL- 25 levels may suggest that the Th1/Th2 cytokine balance shifts towards Th2 dominance in PsE patients, but because of the limited sample size in this study, further studies are necessary.
