Bronchogenic cysts are uncommon congenital malformations of the tracheobronchial tree, and are rarely found in the neck. Diagnosis is often difficult to make based on clinical features, pre-operative imaging and cytology, and are often mistaken for thyroid cysts when they are adjacent to the thyroid.
