I read with great interest the article by Kreuninger et al. in a recent issue of the journal (1). The authors performed a retrospective study on 3,981 hysterectomy cases and concluded that the laparoscopic approach to hysterectomy was associated with fewer hospital readmissions compared with the abdominal route. Moreover; the vaginal, robotic and abdominal approaches to hysterectomy demonstrated similar risks of readmission. This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved.
