Dear Editor, bullous pemphigoid (BP) is an increasingly prevalent autoimmune blistering condition in western countries, which impacts the elderly population.1 Non-white populations have specifically been shown to have a greater risk of hospitalization and subsequent disease mortality.2 To elucidate reported racial disparities, we aim to compare differences in initial clinical presentation of BP between skin of color (SOC) patients and white patients.
