DEAR EDITOR, An otherwise healthy daily-wage worker aged in his 40s, currently employed as a hod carrier ferrying sandbags at a construction site, presented with an extremely pruritic scalp eruption for 3 days. Examination revealed multiple follicular pustules and raised serpiginous greyish white tracts ranging from 2 to 10 cm in length spanning the vertex and temporoparietal area of scalp (a). Dermoscopy (DermLite DL4; 3Gen Inc., San Juan Capistrano, CA, USA) in polarized mode with 10 9 magnification showed white dots and beaded coalescing globules in a curvilinear arrangement (b). Based on clinical findings, the diagnosis of cutaneous larva migrans (CLM) was established. A single dose of ivermectin 12 mg led to complete resolution (c). This isolated occurrence of CLM on the scalp highlights a rarely reported topographic distribution of a common tropical condition. A. Sil iD , A. Panigrahi and J.D. Pramanik
