D EAR E DITOR , An 83-year-old man presented with a 5-year his-tory of annular erythema on his trunk and extremities, with-out any underlying comorbidities. Histology demonstrated subcorneal neutrophilic pustules (a) consistent with a diagno-sis of subcorneal pustular dermatosis. After unsuccessful nar-rowband ultraviolet (UV)B and oral dapsone therapy (b), targeted therapy with 308-nm UVB excimer laser at a minimal erythema dose (MED; 800 mJ cm (cid:1) 2 ) once every month was effective after four applications (c). After therapy with one MED 24 times and 0 (cid:3) 5 MED 12 times with the same regimen, followed by no treatment for 6 months, no recurrence was noted (d).
