strates that there is a reasonable number of patients with CTCL who are interested in and seek additional education and support. More than half of those who attended brought caregivers or family members with them. There has been little research evaluating the nonmedical needs of patients with CTCL and their caregivers. Being diagnosed with CTCL, regardless of prognosis or stage, has an impact on patients’ physical, emotional and financial well-being. This is the first time a support group for patients with CTCL has been evaluated. We plan to carry out a qualitative evaluation to identify why attendees value the experience. Research into disease severity and treatment compliance in this setting is warranted to see if group attendance improves outcomes.
