Dupilumab is a human monoclonal IgG4 antibody that inhibits IL-4 and IL-13 signalling by binding specifically to the IL-4Rα subunit, shared by both the IL4 and IL-13 receptor complexes (1) recently introduced for the treatment of severe atopic dermatitis (AD).
