Hidradenocarcinoma is a rare malignancy arising from intradermal ducts of apocrine glands.1 Sparse literature exists regarding follow-up and risk of additional primary malignancies. We performed a retrospective analysis using the Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) database to determine the occurrence of second primary malignancies (SPMs) in patients with a prior hidradenocarcinoma diagnosis and found significantly increased incidence of rectal, non-epithelial skin, and mesothelioma SPMs.
