A recent British Association of Dermatologists (BAD) undergraduate curriculum review outlined minimum requirements for graduates to ensure provision of safe care for patients with skin diseases(1) . However, variability of curriculum delivery and resources have been identified(2) . A key challenge is the pressure on the dermatology workforce to deliver teaching with limited clinicians and increasing referrals. If we are to provide high quality dermatology education during formative years, feasible solutions are required. We propose the rise in the Clinical Teaching Fellow (CTF) position could be this solution.
