A 65-year-old Japanese man presented with linear erythema and red papules that first occurred on his shoulders and front chest, and gradually spread over his entire body. Prior to the development of the eruptions, he had a sleep disorder and had been treated with clonazepam for 5 months. He had also regularly been taking azilsartan for hypertension for 1 year.
