As many countries start to recover from a second wave of COVID-19 infection, the dermatology community must now seriously consider how it wishes dermatology services to be provided in future. The speed at which the pandemic accelerated in spring 2020 necessitated the immediate conversion of face-to-face (FTF) consultations to virtual, with relaxation of normal clinical governance structures to allow patients to submit photographs directly.
