Infertility is one of the long-term complications of congenital adrenal hyperplasia (CAH) in male patients and may result in most cases from the development of testicular adrenal rest tumors (TART) (1). CAH, especially if TART are present, can impair spermatogenesis. Abnormal sperm parameters have been reported in several studies, mostly performed in small series of CAH patients, with a prevalence ranging from 17 to 72% (2, 3). Thus, some experts recommended fertility preservation in male CAH patients (1, 4) and although an increasing number are referred to sperm banks, sperm cryopreservation has been poorly evaluated until now This article is protected by copyright.
