Anti-myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG)antibody-associated encephalitis is a new spectrum of disease entities that includes acute disseminated encephalomyelitis, brainstem encephalitis and cortical encephalitis. Furthermore, other less typical presentations can include encephalitis with cranial nerve involvement and chronic lymphocytic inflammation with pontine perivascular enhancement responsive to steroids-like. However, lesions in the cerebellum have been described in only a few patients with anti-MOG antibody-associated encephalitis without detailed description. Here, we report a case of anti-MOG antibody-associated encephalitis in which the patient initially developed ponto-cerebellar lesions involving the bilateral dentate nucleus and relapsed as unilateral cerebral cortical encephalitis.
