Topical minoxidil is used as the main treatment for androgenetic alopecia (AGA). Its use grew wider COVID-induced effluviums, as it is currently available over the counter. Although it has a satisfying safety profile, minoxidil can induce allergic contact dermatitis (ACD), mainly due to the associated conservatives in the preparation. Herein, we report the case of ACD to minoxidil associated with a reactive lymphadenopathy.
