Recently, following the concept of total mesorectal excision for rectal cancer, which leads to a lower recurrence rate and increased 5-year survival, complete mesocolic excision (CME) with central vascular ligation (CVL) for colonic cancer has been introduced [1,2]. This surgical concept is increasingly adopted by minimally invasive surgeons as the optimal approach for colon cancer resection [3]. Herein, we present a video of single-port laparoscopic CME and CVL for right-sided cancer. A 67-year-old man was referred to our department and a colonoscopy revealed a 4 cm, ulcerated fungating mass in caecum, biopsies confirmed moderately differentiated adenocarcinoma.
