A 40-year-old woman presented to the emergency department with 48 hours of abdominal pain, nausea and constipation with no signs of peritonitis. She referred similar symptoms one year before, spontaneously resolved after a couple of days. She had a CT scan done as an outpatient 24 hours earlier in another hospital showing bowel obstruction due to ileo-caecal intussusception. Urgent colonoscopy was performed in order to confirm diagnosis and make an attempt to reduce ileo-caecal invagination. About 15 cm of terminal ileum was invaginated through the ileocecal valve with no signs of ischemia. This article is protected by copyright. All rights reserved.
