Laparoscopic approach for a presacral cyst represents a minimally invasive technique which allows patients to return to normal in a short time. Transvaginal extraction of the specimen reduces wound infection risk and improves patient satisfaction. Since pre-sacral cysts are rare, this video vignette could be useful to a colorectal surgeon who decides to do the procedure. All landmarks to demonstrate how to enter the retrorectal space and to preserve the pelvic plexus and the posterior rectal wall are highlighted. This article is protected by copyright.
