Decreased cardiorespiratory fitness (CRF) related to cardiopulmonary function increases the risk of cardiovascular disease in patients with end‐stage kidney disease. Thus, early detection of the cause of impaired cardiopulmonary function in patients undergoing peritoneal dialysis (PD) is of important clinical significance.
