• A 72yearold male presented with chest tightness and chest pain that has occurred for the past month. • There was a history of epithelioid sarcoma (ES) in the perineum 16 years ago. One year prior there was a recurrence in the bilateral inguinal lymph nodes— they were removed. • Computed tomography imaging confirmed that multiple soft tissue nodules are present in both lungs and pleura. In addition, pleural effusion was seen on both sides of the chest. • Thoracentesis yielded 200 ml of haemorrhagic fluid, and slides were prepared using the disposable membrane cell collector method. Smears were stained by HE method. Cell block procedure has been carried out.
