Endoscopic mucosal resection sometimes fails to obtain curative resection of small-sized gastric neoplasms due to slippage of the snaring device and insufficient surgical margins; thus, endoscopic submucosal dissection (ESD) is required.1-3 However, ESD is technically difficult, and the ESD knife is expensive (more than 215 USD).
