Endoscopes are now an indispensable medical device in digestive pathology, and digestive endoscopy is performed all over the world. Japan has made a great contribution to the development of this endoscopic instrument and the development of endoscopic diagnostics and endoscopic treatment. Therefore, We wrote this paper because We wanted to summarize the efforts to develop endoscopic instruments and GI-Endoscopy training for overseas doctors in Japan.
