A 74-year-old man with chronic pancreatitis underwent endoscopic pancreatic sphincterotomy, followed by placement of a pancreatic stent (5-Fr, 12 cm, Geenen Pancreatic Stent, Cook Medical Japan) for main pancreatic duct (MPD) stricture and stones. During follow-up, the stent was found to have migrated into the pancreatic body. He was referred for endoscopic retrieval. We initially attempted retrieval using a wire-guided biopsy forceps1 (G/W FB-46Q type, Olympus Japan), but achieved no success.
