Cold snare polypectomy (CSP) has been established as a fast and safe procedure for colonoscopy in numerous clinical trials1 . The latest European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy guideline recommends CSP as a standard polypectomy technique for small colorectal polyps 2 . In Japan, the introduction of CSP was delayed by several years, and its diffusion of CSP remains unknown.
