Figure 1 (a) Contrast-enhanced computed tomography demonstrated intussusception of a 50 mm hyper-attenuated mass at the ascending colon (yellow arrowheads). (b) Colonoscopy revealed a 50 mm pedunculated polypoid lesion in the ascending colon. The head of the lesion had rugged surface and patchy whitish erosion. (c) A well-defined and smooth margin was observed between the lesion head and the stalk. This finding indicates the tumor was derived from the submucosal layer or deeper. (d) Complete healing of the resection site was observed 3 months later.
