The impact of childhood-onset type 1 diabetes (T1D) extends into young adulthood and beyond. Adolescence and young adulthood are periods of significant life change, with competing challenges that can distract from optimal T1D self-management (1). We were interested to explore young adults' perception of diabetes, their lifestyle, complications and healthcare service utilization.
