Dear Editor, Pyoderma gangrenosum (PG) is a rare dermatosis. The incidence of PG is estimated to be about 3-10 cases per million per year. Its occurrence after surgery or caesarean is even rarer and only a few cases are reported. PG lacks specific markers, thus diagnosis is mainly based on clinical features. Its classical clinical presentation is painful nodules or pustules which develop rapidly into a progressive ulcer with violaceous undermined border. Most patients with PG received systemic corticosteroids as monotherapy. Treating PG with negative pressure wound therapy (NPWT) and skin graft is rarely reported. Herein, we describe a case of PG after caesarean section treated with NPWT and skin graft.
