Acne fulminans (AF) is a severe form of inflammatory acne, character-ized by an abrupt explosive flare of multiple ulceronecrotic lesions, which can be associated with systemic symptoms. 1 We report the first case of therapy-refractory AF successfully treated with apremilast, and discuss the benefits of this medication. A 15-year-old-adolescent with personal overweight clinical recommended for psoriasis, the inflammatory isotretinoin tapered discontinued within Complete remission achieved under apremilast monotherapy, and has been maintained during without side-effects
