Platelet count and liver stiffness measurement (LSM) using transient elastography could identify significant fibrosis in patients with non‐alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD). We constructed a novel index combining LSM with platelet count for staging fibrosis in Japanese patients with NAFLD.
