but aggressive HS. It is interesting that our patient, despite the severity of disease and the area of involvement, did not show a severe quality of life impairment, highlighting the differences of psychosocial impact among patients also according to age of onset and disease duration, sex, and personal character. Finally, we share the view of the authors about the importance of early detection, a collaborative approach between dermatologists and surgeons, and management of this critical condition at early stages.
