right ear only (Fig. 1). It did not change on pressure. His past medical and family history were insignificant. His right great auricular nerve was visible and thickened too; however, there was no sensory deficit or motor weakness at any site. The remainder of the systemic examination did not reveal any abnormality. Laboratory investigations including complete blood count, urine microscopy, erythrocyte sedimentation rate, C-reactive protein, blood sugar levels, liver and renal function tests, serum uric acid, serum angiotensin converting enzyme, Montoux test, and chest radiography were within normal limits.
