Hand, foot, and mouth disease (HFMD) is an acute and highly contagious viral illness mainly affecting the pediatric population. It is most commonly caused by coxsackievirus A16 (CVA16), enterovirus 71 (EV71), CVA6, and CVA10. While several reports detailed its manifestations in the pediatric age group, few described the disease in adults. We report a case of HFMD with erythema multiforme (EM)-like presentation in an immunocompetent adult.
