a histological overlap between such conditions as both of them may reveal such findings. However, unlike LSC, histology of SGD often displays vascular proliferation in reticular dermis, which would be responsible for the presence of linear and linear-curved vessels observed in this condition. As expected, inverse psoriasis showed a different dermoscopic pattern with diffuse dotted vessels corresponding to dilated vessels in elongated dermal papillae. Although a similar vascular pattern was also observed in LSC, psoriasis typically lacked perivascular white halos due to the absence/reduction of granular layer. In conclusion, our analysis emphasizes the possible usefulness of dermoscopy in the diagnosis of SGD, yet larger studies are needed to confirm our preliminary observations.
