retinoid, and local destructive procedures have been tried with variable success. However, because of the rarity of the disease and poor response to most treatments, no consensus over treatment has been reached yet. Future studies should assess the genetic mutations causing nevoid AN. We report this series of nine patients with the aim of familiarizing dermatologists with the diagnosis of this rare entity and its natural history.
