The sixth-largest non-nuclear explosion in history occurred in Beirut, Lebanon, on August 04, 2020, at 6:07 p.m., when an estimated 2750 tons of ammonium nitrate detonated in the port of the capital. The explosion left a whole country despondent with immeasurable human and material loss in the midst of a financial crisis and the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic. More than a year has passed after this cataclysmal blast, and we are still trying to remedy the injuries of our patients. Around 40 survivors were seen in the Emergency Department (ED) and were treated by the Dermatology team at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC), 15 of whom are still being followed up.
