immuno-oncology have revealed multiple roles of cytokines in oncology and the complex interactions between a tumor and host. Analysis of cytokine responses and their locations has shown that cutaneous T-cell lymphoma is the malignant counterpart of skin resident memory T (TRM) cells, which are longlived skin resident T-cells. Skin TRM cells comprise CD4 + and CD8 cell types, which possibly play unusual physiological roles. The similarity in immunologic features and locations of pediatric and adult PR tumor cells suggests that they originate from these subtypes of TRM cells; however, further investigation is needed.
