Voided urine fl ow can be evaluated as a physical phenomenon using fl uid dynamics. We pre-viously analyzed voided urine fl ow using a high-speed video camera (HSVC) and observed the shape of voided urine. 1 Thus, voided urine speed and shape may re fl ect the function of the lower urinary tract (LUT), especially for bladder outlet obstruction (BOO). We have developed a new method using HSVC in the clinical setting. The present study aimed to assess our novel fl uid dynamical methodology for examining LUT function
