The “modified single‐patch” technique (Nunn's technique) has become more widely adopted, especially in small infants with common atrioventricular septal defect (CAVSD). In this study, we retrospectively reviewed our surgical experiences of the “modified single‐patch” technique with CAVSD patients, including newborns and adults, to reveal the early and midterm clinical results.
