vomiting, a skull radiograph was obtained showing a hyperdense image, apparently on the posterior wall of the right nasal cavity (Fig. 1, arrows). After observation by otolaryngology and exclusion of nasal foreign body, a head computed tomography was performed for a correct diagnosis, displaying a metallic foreign body, adjacent to the right optic foramen with bone splinters, haemorrhage and oedema in the frontal lobe associated with its path (Fig. 2, arrows).
