A 39-year-old Caucasian man with no relevant medical history was admitted because of fever, weight loss and general discomfort of ten days evolution. No high-risk sexual practices. Normal physical examination. Hepatotropic viruses, HIV and tumour markers were negative. No other causes of immunodepression were found. A body CT scan showed multiple, poorly delimited nodular liver lesions, with peripheral arterial enhancement (figure 1a) and hypoenhanced in venous phases (figure 1b), and hilum, celiac and porto-caval adenopathies, suggesting a neoplastic process.
