by Lin et al. who analysed clin-icopathological features of patients with severe indeterminate acute hepatitis (sIAH) to define predictors of corticosteroid (CS) responsiveness, and reported that the presence of multilobular necrosis on liver biopsy helps identify a subgroup of sIAH cases who may benefit from the administration of CS. First of all, we applaud their efforts in treating these difficult- to- diagnose and difficult- to- treat liver dis-eases. Detailed presentations of clinical manifestation and histological features are valuable.
