Being "in the zone" is clearly a desirable state. The phrase may bring to mind the likes of Serena Williams dominating a grueling tennis match, Yo-Yo Ma playing an immaculate cello solo, or Amanda Gorman composing stunning poetry. For the vast majority of us not so athletically or artistically gifted, our personal version of "the zone", particularly in our professional lives, may feel less important, more mundane, or more difficult to envision.
