Laboratory medicine is important for the physician to gain patient's health information. Senior medical technologist (MT) in the teaching hospital is responsible for clinical duties and teaching tasks. Handson tutoring is indispensable in the training of junior MTs. The workload of the MT has become extremely heavy since the COVID-19 pandemic thus compresses the teaching or instructing time for students or post-graduate year (PGY) trainees. Especially since the nationwide Level 3 alert in Taiwan for COVID-19, conducting in-person class becomes a big challenge due to the social distancing measures, split operation or personnel quarantine even isolation.
