Biobanking plays a key role to provide important clinical information of human biological material for collection, storing and distribution for diagnostics and research. "-omics" approaches are emerging as a successful strategy to support clinical and translational research. Particularly, biobanks encompass diagnostics and therapeutics, distinctly pertaining to the clinical applications keeping up with the new era of medicine (Dahl E. et al., 2018, Leitsalu L. et al., 2019, Biunno I. et al., 2014).
