To the Editor, Vernal keratoconjunctivitis (VKC) is a rare, chronic, allergic inflammatory disease affecting the conjunctiva and cornea.1– 8 Primarily observed in children/young adults, VKC has significant detrimental impact on quality of life and potential complications.1– 10 Symptoms include intense ocular itching, redness, mucoid discharge, and photophobia with recurrent flareups and seasonal exacerbations.1– 10
