A 3-year-old girl presented with recurrent, asymptomatic, fluid-filled lesions in the oral cavity present for 1 month. She had leukocyte adhesion deficiency (LAD) type 1 and underwent allogenic bone marrow transplant (BMT) 16 months prior. Thereafter, she was on a tapering dose of oral cyclosporine, which was withdrawn 4 months before the onset of oral lesions. Her past and family history was noncontributory. On examination, multiple, discrete, translucent cysts of different size were present over the hard palate, upper and lower labial mucosa, and buccal mucosa (Figure 1A,B). The rest of mucocutaneous examination was unremarkable. Serologies for anti-HSV I and II, IgM, and IgG antibodies were negative. Her parents refused biopsy.
