No special settings for CT scanning are necessary, although electrocardiogram synchronization or thinner slices provide better image quality. Recently, 3D printing models have been introduced in pediatric cardiology, but users are currently facing problems such as printing time, supporting branch materials, model storage space, and dark and invisible structures in tubes or recessed chambers, which are resolvable with computer graphics.
