2 receptor blockers slow the progression of CKD. 25 As outlined above, once nephron loss begins, no new organoids can be formed. 26 For now, the most important next question is how we can reduce the risk of AKI and AKD after pediatric non- kidney solid organ transplantation, and this could be addressed in prospective multi- centered studies.
