BACKGROUND With the continuous development of China's social economy, college students are faced with increasing psychological pressure and problems, which seriously affect their living standard and quality of life. OBJECTIVE To study the intervention effect of mental health training on the psychological literacy of college graduates, and to improve people's quality of life. METHODS The experimental research design is used in this study the random sampling method is used for sample selection. 225 people of different ages and professional fields were randomly selected from 10 cities, districts, and counties in China province. A total of 225 questionnaires was distributed for the survey, But only 205 samples were used for the data analysis after rejecting a few questionnaires having more missing values. Then, the mental health questionnaire after the psychological training intervention was used to evaluate. RESULTS The symptoms of social fear, inferiority, and fear were lower after intervention than before intervention (P<0.05). After the intervention, the awareness rate of the two groups of subjects increases, and the holding rate of healthy mental behavior of the subjects of the intervention group and the control group after the intervention is significantly higher than that before the intervention, with significant difference (P < 0.05). The results showed that regular mental health training in interpersonal relationship management, mental health assessment, and guidance can effectively improve people's ability to cope with stress, improve interpersonal sensitivity, anxiety, and other bad states. CONCLUSION Psychological training can effectively improve the psychological quality of college students, and has a positive intervention effect on mental health.
