Abstract During the field surveys on eriophyoid mites associated with plant species of the Rosaceae family in semi-arid and arid environments in East Iran (Birjand, South Khorasan, Iran 2016-2017), three new vagrant species (Acari: Eriophyoidea) were found. They are Epitrimerus vulgarubi sp. nov. on Rubus vulgaris Weihe & Nees, Phyllocoptes trilobos sp. nov. on Rosa persica Michx. ex Juss., Rhyncaphytoptus birrosa sp. nov. on Rosa canina L. which are described and illustrated herein. No symptom was observed on their infested host plants.
